Inbound Sales Representative:
Major Responsibilities
• Handle inbound telephone inquiries from Financial Advisors Nationwide.
• Accept and process sales literature requests.
• Run hypothetical illustrations, annuitization quotes and various reports.
• Provide Internal Sales support to Regional Sales Representatives.
Qualifications:
• Series 6 and 63 Licensing preferred.
• College Degree or one to three years customer service experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of word processing, database management and spreadsheet software.
• Ability to handle high-volume telephone lines in a busy support environment.
• Strong customer-service orientation.
• Attention to detail & dedication to quality of work essential.
Regional Sales Representatives:
Major Responsibilities:
• Provide individual telephone consultation for Registered Representatives on a variety of subjects including product information and suitability, financial planning strategies, asset allocation, qualified plans etc.
• Coordinate sales support for assigned geographic region. Work closely with Regional Sales Directors to increase sales of Guardian's products.
• Assist in developing a regional marketing plan. Track regional marketing and sales activity.
• Develop new sales sources, contacts and work with major Brokers/Dealers and Registered Investment Advisors.
• Contributes to the acquisition of new business.
• Prepare and disseminate sales ideas to field force on a regular basis.
• Conduct meetings for Registered Reps., including sales training and product presentations.
• Design and maintain various sales reports, product lists, and other miscellaneous reports.
• Place outbound calls regarding product education, lead development, increasing product awareness, and other attempts to gain producer’s interest in illustrating and showing our products to their customers.
Qualifications:
• One to Three years industry specific experience is required.
• Working knowledge of mutual funds, variable annuities, and retirement plans is required.
• Series 6, or 7, & 63 NASD required.
• Understanding of financial planning concepts (i.e. portfolio design, retirement planning).
• Experience with heavy phone volume, both inbound and outbound.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work independently.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attention to detail and dedication to quality of work essential.
