The NYU Hospitals Center, one of the nation's premier centers of excellence in health care and medical research, is located in mid-town Manhattan, New York City. The Hospitals Center occupies the superblock along First Avenue between 30th St. and 34th St. which it shares with its affiliate, NYU School of Medicine.

Today, the Medical Center consists of NYU School of Medicine and the three hospitals of NYU Hospitals Center, including Tisch Hospital, a 726-bed acute-care general hospital, Rusk Institute of Rehabilitation Medicine, the first and largest facility of its kind, and NYU Hospital for Joint Diseases, a leader in musculoskeletal care. Together these hospitals provide a range of superb clinical care matched by only a few centers world-wide.
