Executive Housekeeper
BASIC FUNCTION:Manages the housekeeping and laundry services of the hotel. To plan, organize, motivate and control the housekeeping functions necessary to provide our guests with top-quality, clean accommodations. JOB DUTIES:Trains and motivates Housekeeping and Laundry personnel Schedules personnel to provide timely service in the hotel Conducts monthly inventories Inspects property daily - compiles reports on status of rooms Conducts employee performance evaluations Performs guest room housekeeping duties, laundry functions, and cleans public areas as needed. GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:Requires ability to select, train, evaluate, motivate and discipline as needed. Operates the department within the budget. Requires some travel. MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: EDUCATION: Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to the completion of 4 of years of high school. Two years of college preferred. EXPERIENCE: Requires minimum 1 year experience in supervising others. Six months commercial housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred. PHYSICAL SKILLS: Requires ability to walk or stand 5 to 6 hours each day while inspecting rooms. Requires ability to lift up to 25 - 35 pounds during the work day. Requires ability to perform all duties of the Housekeeper.

HOUSEKEEPER
BASIC FUNCTION
Under immediate supervision, performs a variety of housekeeping services to maintain clean and sanitary guest rooms according to established standards. May perform laundry functions. Visually inspects rooms to assist in identifying maintenance items needed. Assists guests whenever possible by providing linens, terry or providing information as requested.

Under general supervision, prepares the QUIKSTART ® Breakfast for guests following Company policies and procedures. NIGHT AUDITOR
Under general direction, maintains the physical plant and grounds of the hotel. Effects necessary repairs, and performs preventive maintenance procedures in a manner responsive to guest satisfaction and to preservation of company assets in a safe, cost- effective manner. When necessary, may be responsible for routine custodial duties.
JOB DUTIES:
·Responsible for maintaining the buildings equipment and systems. Performs duties as prescribed in the property Preventive Maintenance Program; dates and initials as required.
·Completes repair orders as requested. Gives priority items preference, and advises management of items requiring additional time / assistance.
·Ensures that property and equipment are maintained in a safe manner, and that all equipment repairs are made as specified by the manufacturer.
·Advises the management of needed repairs and required expenditures; obtains bids and/or approvals as requested.
·Checks pool (in season) for cleanliness, appearance, and chemical balance and safety. Completes the pool and/or spa maintenance log as required.
·As needed, performs duties as prescribed in the Maintenance Cart Program.
·Responsible for performing maintenance parts inventory and ordering necessary repair materials following the necessary approval process.
·Responsible for maintaining the tool inventory and conditions; keeps maintenance storage room, equipment areas, and maintenance shop clean and orderly.
·Assist the Traveling Maintenance and/or Regional Maintenance Manager as requested.
·Provides courteous guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests and complaints.
·Complies with hotel's safety/security rules and instructions in performing work efficiently while protecting self, fellow workers, and the hotel.
·Performs other duties as required.
GENERAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four years of high school, supplemented by 12 to 18 months of technical school. Certified Pool Operator (CPO) and Refrigerant Recovery Certification preferred.
EXPERIENCE:Requires minimum of 3+ years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
PHYSICAL SKILLS: Requires ability to walk and stand during the work shift. Requires ability to lift up to 80 pounds occasionally throughout the work week, but may lift 20 - 25 pounds regularly during work shift.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS:
1.Reports to General Manager and/or Assistant General Manager.
2.Works closely with Regional Maintenance Manager, Executive Housekeeper and Guest Service personnel and Property Maintenance personnel where applicable.
