Since its founding in 1866, The Sherwin-Williams Company has not only grown to be the largest producer of paints and coatings in the United States, but is among the largest producers in the world with annual sales of over $8 billion.

Sherwin-Williams manufactures and sells labeled architectural coatings, industrial finishes and associated supplies through company-owned stores. We also manufacture and sell coatings such as Dutch Boy ®, Pratt & Lambert ®, Martin-Senour ®, Dupli-Color ®, Krylon ®, Thompson’s ®, Duron ® and Minwax® plus private label brands to independent dealers, mass merchandisers and home improvement centers. In addition, we produce coatings for original equipment manufacturers in a number of industries and special purpose coatings for the automotive aftermarket.

Most of the Group’s sales are obtained through over 3,300 specialty paint stores, located in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. The Paint Stores Group also maintains the largest nationwide field sales rep organization in the industry, dedicated to developing the commercial and industrial wholesale markets. Our formal Management Training Program prepares recent college graduates for store management positions at locations throughout the nation.
