Marcia Reynolds, PsyD loves to change people's minds. She is considered an expert on how the brain works by her clients world-wide. In addition to coaching executives in multi-national companies, she travels around the world teaching classes in leadership and consulting on organizational change programs.
Excerpts from her interviews and her book, Outsmart Your Brain, have appeared in many places including Fortune Magazine, US Business Review, Harvard Communications Newsletter, Cosmopolitan, Good Housekeeping, American Way Magazine, The Los Angeles Times and The New York Times and she has appeared on ABC World News, National Public Radio, and Japan Nightly News.
Marcia is also a true pioneer in the coaching profession and a past president of the International Coach Federation (ICF). She was one of the first 100 people to earn the designation of Master Certified Coach (MCC) and was instrumental in designing the certification and accreditation programs for the ICF.
Marcia is an experienced keynote speaker. In 2004, she earned the designation of Certified Speaking Professional from the National Speakers Association.
Prior to starting her own business, Marcia developed training departments for a number of corporations. Her greatest success story came as a result of designing the employee development program for a semiconductor manufacturing company facing bankruptcy. Working with the executive staff, the company not only turned around, it became the top IPO in the country in 1993. Marcia worked for the company for another two years making sure employees stayed committed and productive throughout the changes that come from growth and success.
Marcia’s doctoral degree is in organizational psychology with a research emphasis on the personal factors that both hinder and help in the success of high-achieving women in today’s corporations.
