A Challenge – and an Opportunity – for You from Tory Johnson

We’ve scrapped the agenda and we’re building an all–new exceptional program for the grand finale of the Spark & Hustle National Tour.

Over the last several months, we’ve received more than 1,000 speaker submissions, which is astonishing. Some look spectacular on paper, but, quite frankly, are duds in person. Other emails haven’t done justice for the speakers’ rockstar reputations. Our team finally said there’s got to be a better way—and now we have it.

Create a video to tell us in two minutes or less why YOU should have a spot on the stage to share your message with our audience. You don’t have to be a perfectly polished presenter. You don’t need an MBA or any degree. You need not have banked a million bucks.

What we’re looking for is tried and true small business success achieved by you. We don’t want to hear what you’ve learned from reading a book or taking a class. We want to know what you’ve made happen on your own so everyone in the room will be inspired to act based on your spectacular example.

In other words, we want to see your spark and your hustle.

We expect to select at least three speakers to spotlight in Atlanta through this process. Will YOU be one of them?

Here’s exactly how it works:

•Create a short (ideally under two minutes) video telling me why you’d be an ideal addition to our program. Include three very specific things that current and aspiring small business owners will learn from your lead as you wow the crowd.

•Make your own rules as you create the video. Be original, smart, funny, convincing, provocative — just be the best YOU.

•Post it on my Facebook page and then ask your fans, friends, followers, customers and clients to comment on your video on our page to tell us why they believe you’d be a perfect person for our program. Their recommendations will be considered.

•The deadline for submissions is Tuesday, June 14 at midnight. The earlier you post, the more time you have to generate excitement and support for your spot.
