Paid Leave Benefits On Rise
Tech companies like Microsoft and Netflix are leading the pack with attractive benefits to recruit top talent, making headlines for new policies on paid parental leave.
While the U.S. lags behind other developed countries, paid leave policies are on the rise—including paid sick, family and maternity leave. In 2014 the percentage of companies that provide paid maternity leave jumped to 21% from 12% and paid sick leave rose to 42% from 33%.
