Health Benefits

Medical: Employees can choose from PPO or HMO medical plan options. Health Care and Dependent Care accounts are also available.

Dental: Coverage includes preventive, basic, major including implant and orthodontia services.

Vision: Coverage provides benefits for eye exams, lenses, frames, and contact lenses.

Health Savings Account (HSA): Employees can make pre-tax contributions to a Health Savings Account (HSA). Yamaha will also contribute to the HSA. Use the money in the HSA to pay for eligible heath care expenses.

Life Insurance: Yamaha provides Basic Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance up to two times employee’s salary at no charge. Employees have the option to purchase supplemental life insurance for themselves and their dependents.

Long Term Disability: In the event an employee becomes disabled and is continuously unable to work for 180 days, Yamaha provides a LTD policy for all employees that provides for payment of 60% of their annual base salary (up to $12,000/month) until they are no longer disabled or become eligible for Social Security.

Short Term Disability: Employees have the option to enroll in a voluntary disability insurance plan for employees who reside in states that do not have state disability available.

Time Off

Vacation: Accrued from the hire date and is available after 90 days of employment.

10 paid vacation days annually at one to four years of service

15 paid vacation days at five to 14 years of service

20 paid vacation days at 15 to 24 years of service

25 paid vacation days at 25-plus years of service

Holidays: Twelve paid company selected holidays each year

401(K)

Yamaha offers a 401(K) program that matches 50% up to the first 6% of total pay [pre-tax & Roth 401(k)] the employee contributes. In addition to the match, Yamaha will contribute an additional 2% to 4% of an eligible employee’s annual base salary to an employee’s 401(k) Plan, depending on the employee’s years of service completed. Eligibility for retirement benefits begins with the first pay period after three months of service.

Wellness Program

Comprehensive wellness program to provide employee health management tools, one-on-one coaching services including weight management, stress management, smoking cessation and/or healthy living.
