Do What It Takes
Out of the mountain of stats tied to the latest unemployment report — 8.1% Americans are jobless — one number stood out: 8.6 million people now work part time, up 787,000 from a month ago. Over the past year, 3.7 million people — who want to work fulltime but can’t find jobs — have joined the part time ranks. They are, in short, “doing what it takes” to stay afloat — a strategy we’ve aways favored, whether it’s asking a spouse to return to work, make kids chip in more or accept a lower salary and standard of living to make ends meet. You agree? What are you doing to make ends meet?

I have been working two jobs. I am currently working in the health care field. I am also the sole bread winner in my family. I am still raising four children and I have four grown daughter. One is serving in the military. I have a total of eight children four boys and four girls. I have raised them alone with very little support. I have been blessed. I am currently looking for ways to make money from home. I also go to the local University full-time. I am always trying to find ways to improve myself. I dreams of one day becoming my own boss. I want to be able to stay home with my kids.
